I always had a keen interest in law but I sort of fell into the job initially after my travelling plans were halted due to the Covid pandemic. After 1 month of joining the firm as a paralegal I quickly realised there was no other career for me. I have now been working at Hine Solicitors for 5 years and cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
My favourite part about this job is that no two days are the same. I may spend my day in different Courts, different Police Stations, offices or even Prisons so it never get's boring. I always wanted to be involved in a career where I have the ability to help people and a lot of the time people need the assistance of a criminal solicitor when they are facing their darkest moments in life. I enjoy fighting for people's rights when they are sometimes unable to fight for themselves and I like making a real difference. It's rewarding to have such an impact and meet so many people from so many different backgrounds.
