What do you like best about your job?

"I have dealt with a large number of cases in my career that involved defendants being prosecuted for a wide ranger of serious offences such as murder, large scale drug offences, high value frauds and offences involving firearms as well as very serious sexual offences. The cases are often complex and involve multi jurisdictions.

I have also dealt with a number of cases relating to Confiscation and Forfeiture proceedings. I have further experiences of cases in the High Court such as Judicial Review and Contempt of Court proceedings and numerous cases in the Court of Appeal including sentences referred by the Attorney General for being unduly lenient.

Cases have often been prosecuted by the Serious Fraud Office, the Financial Conduct Authority, HMRC, National Crime Agency, Health and Safety Executive

I appear regularly at the police station, magistrates court and the youth court.

Notable cases include

 R v P - represented a defendant in a case involving an industrial scale factory producing fake Xanax pills using a newly discovered and at that time unclassified psychoactive substance. There are on going confiscation proceedings involving large amounts of crypto currency and the prosecution seeking to recover £33 million pounds
